Three Guitarists - one stage!

This unique concert offers a rare opportunity to hear three outstanding artists at the height of their skills and early careers, performing both individually and together. Each will do a solo set and then join forces to play some trio music - from Bach to big band!

Dr. Jeremy Waldrip

Already an internationally recognized classical guitarist and educator, Dr. Waldrip has earned accolades in over 20 competitions. He has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, and his recordings and scholarly work have earned wide acclaim. He recently presented a sterling solo concert for the Williamson County Guitar Society here in Georgetown.



Aytahn Benavi

Aytahn Benavi is legendary as the most awarded pre-college classical guitarist in the United States. His honors include First Prize at the International Ex Aequo Competition, finalist in the International Guitar Foundation of America Youth Soloist Competition, and top awards at the Stroud International String Competition. Aytahn has performed numerous times for our guitar society. Aytahn has had the unique honor of having a composition composed for him by the late Italian composer, Angelo Gilardino, who called Aytahn, "a gift from heaven." He is a recent graduate of UT. 



Jake Giles

Mr. Giles holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in guitar performance from the University of Louisville. He has performed with the U.S. Guitar Orchestra in New York and France and has appeared at festivals nationwide, including events in Louisville, Milwaukee, Buffalo, North Carolina, Missouri, California, and Quebec. He is the first recipient of the Marty L. Carroll Guitar Grant and has received scholarships to study at both the University of Louisville and the University of Texas at Austin, where he is pursuing his doctorate.
