We are thrilled to bring the Ibison Guitar Duo, an extraordinary classical guitar pair comprised of husband-and-wife team Chad Ibison and Janet Grohovac, on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 4 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Georgetown, TX.

The Ibison Duo, are based in Austin. They have been performing together since 2010. Both Chad Ibison (USA) and Janet Grohovac (Canada) hold Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, where they met. Their performances, praised as “superb and sublime” (Austin American-Statesman) and showcasing a “refined and elegant style”, have captivated audiences across North America and beyond, including sold-out shows at the Christ Church Cathedral series in Canada, the Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Taxco in Mexico, and Ticino Musica in Lugano, Switzerland.

Both Chad and Janet are multi-competition solo winners on the international circuit. They performed a remarkable house concert in 2020 for Wilco Guitar Society. We are thriled to feature them in a full concert. They are one of the premiere guitar duet teams concertizing today.
