What it is: Let's prepare and play music together. The music will be at all levels so don't worry if you're a beginner. You can download the music here. The Westphalia Waltz is originally a Polish folk song that was brought to Texas by Fiddler, Cotton Collins and is now a classic Texas Dance tune. We encourage you to come to our social and play the chords if you can't read the notes or tab.

Many thanks to Kenz Guitars in Georgetown who has contributed a really nice selection of classical guitar music books for sale at a very deep discount. We'll bring them and help beginners choose appropriate material for their library. There is also some advanced material. Sales by cash or check.

We will have refreshments and get to know each other. Come make music! Come make mistakes! See what you can do! We will cultivate only a supportive environment. We love playing guitar and and trying to play guitar.
